Now that I have your attention…when I was talking pictures yesterday I decided to switch out the jeans and add a maxi skirt. My husband hates maxi skirts so I try not to wear them around him. Not because I value his fashion opinion but because I don’t want to hear him complain about what I’m wearing. I pick my battles and win the wars.

Only one picture – quick, dirty and lazy!

Blazer – Zara
T-Shirt – Joe Fresh
Skirt – Denise & Co. (old)
Flip Flops – tkees (old)
Necklace & Bracelet – Stella & Dot
Watch – Michael Kors (old)

My ex-boyfriend hated maxi skirts/dresses too. I think that’s such a strange thing for men not to like. *I* think you look great!

Husband hates maxi anything. I tried on a maxi dress I bought and what does he say, “did you join a choir?” yeah, he’s got jokes.

Your husband is crazy, you look great in a maxi! Especially this one, it’s gorgeous. And the color of this blazer is so much fun.

Men don’t like maxi skirts – not enough leg for them. LOL! Mine doesn’t either, but I LOVE mine! This is a cute outfit. The pleated maxiskirt is great!

    Hahaha…my husband is the same.
I wore a maxi the other day and made a mistake of asking how does it look.
    Him: “um…this looks middle aged”
    me: “I AM middle aged”
    him:”Can’t you wear something y’know…more rock’n’roll?”
    me: “you don’t understand fashion”
    etc etc…

I am really loving this look! Coral and navy go so well together. The maxi skirt gives it a completely different feel than jeans. I’m glad you switched them out.

Men. They don’t know anything about fashion.

Ha ha, love that skirt! I’ve definitely learned not to listen to my Man when it comes to fashion, but you are right, sometimes it’s just easier not to wear things around them that they don’t like, just because I don’t want to hear any complaints. You definitely look great in maxis!

That’s so funny. It seems like anything a woman loves, a man hates.
