Social Media, specificially Twitter, is a powerful tool to network with brands and meet lots of great bloggers, like ML from  Twenty York Street. ML came up with the idea to style the same dress from Banana Republic. We are constantly tweeting back and forth and she thought we should put our collective blogging skills to use for a style collaboration. Go and check out how ML styled this dress. She’s petite and I’m more giant.

I bought this dress while on a shopping trip with the kids, they get popcorn from Kernels and I get an hour of change room time. Plus Sushi, we all get Sushi. I like the fact that the silhouette is drop waist and I have nothing like it in my closet. The fabric reminds me of scuba gear and is a nice weight. .

For accessories I went a bit crazy. I just bought these necklaces from J Crew and decided to pile them on. Looking at it, it’s a bit much. I could have stuck with the gold cuff or even a nice black one and allowed the dress to take centre stage

Dress, Banana Republic. Necklaces, J Crew. Clutch, Danier Leather. Shoes, Prada.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation. I’m in Croatia looking over the Adriatic, haven’t been in 10 years and now I’m wondering why…why? Because I had four kids.

It’s my sister Ana’s Birthday. No one celebrates like Ana, it’s a week long celebration and she makes it an event. Happy Birthday to you!

Looks great! I love the layered necklaces – looks almost like the dress has a jeweled neckline.

Thanks Iva…hope you’re having a great time. The 4 monkeys and I kicked off my birthday celebration with them doing a birthday dance and song for me

I love the multiple necklaces! The dress is amazing. Is it neoprene?

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a
comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people
    from that service? Appreciate it!
