Last week I had a busy Thursday, I did my first segment for CHCH Morning Live on which is an on-line children’s clothing consignment store (clip here), and two parties. One for Binns Kitchen & Bath Anniversary party, where guests were introduced to the beauty of the Cayman Islands and the second was “Toronto Celebrates Sudbury” which was held at the Hockey Hall of Fame. Only in Toronto could I attend two parties celebrating places with VERY different climates. For the evening I opted for a tartan/plaid dress from Zara. This is my favourite silhouette, thank goodness for Spanx.

Plaid is everywhere this fall and I am jumping into this trend body first. For those of you that follow me you know that I’ve featured pants, shirts and a coat in a plaid pattern. This is my first dress. Zara has done a great job in making an affordable dress in a cut that we’re seeing in many high end boutiques. I also love the length of this dress. I’m an “at the knee girl” and this hits my sweet spot.
