Every year (for the past 5 years) I purchase one cashmere sweater. I usually purchase it at after Christmas during the winter sale season. This year I got this great neon yellow v-neck one from JCrew. The sales woman told me that her and other staff members were taking bets on how the colour would suit me. I cost most of them some money.
When wearing colour, some colours are trickier then others – I prefer blue toned reds, kelly green and bright yellows (sunshine yellow as opposed to mustards). I’ve heard it said that blondes can’s wear yellow, blondes can wear yellow, it’s just about finding the right shade for you. Neon, in my opinion, might be easier to wear because it is so jarring and loud. You should be wearing neon, neon shouldn’t be wearing you.
I have always loved neon, goes back to the 80s when neon was huge and I was drawn to neon pinks & yellows. When I saw this sweater I felt nostalgic and had to try it. JCrew does great cashmere and I can see why it is so popular with its customers. I know I will be back on the hunt next year in JCrew for another sweater.
I have to say that Gap has made the best ripped jeans for me. I’ve been trying on high priced labels (because I love them) but length is becoming an issue again. Plus with all the e-mail deals and Tall options on-line with Gap I just couldn’t resist.
I stated on my last post how I hate wearing my boots EVERY DAY. I am not walking around outside with heels on, I will however take pictures inside my hallway with heels because the alternative depresses me. I wear this outfit often with my winter boots. For now I will put on my favourite heels and dream about warmer days ( like it being 5C, I’m Catholic remember. I can’t be too greedy because God will have some fun with me and none of us wants that).
