I hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was full of dinners with friends and late nights. When the kids are away mom will play and wonder how she was able to function when she was in her 20s.

In the next few weeks I will be attending previews for Fall & Winter and for one of those previews I will be wearing this outfit. I adore this full zebra midi skirt from Express (I also have the black one last seen here). The print is bold and fun, I just couldn’t resist. The reversible Express Barcelona Tank is another great piece (this one is also grey and I wore my green one here) and was the easy choice to pair with the zebra midi skirt.

As an aside my daughter turns 10 today – my baby has hit double digits. Have a great Monday.

Just have to say that I don’t have kids yet but you give me hope that in the future I can have kids and still keep my style. It makes me sad when I see friends my age (late twenties) who give the excuse “I’m a mom now so I can only wear sweats” and then I see you looking more put together than me!

Thank you Tracey! Sometimes women feel guilty about giving themselves time to look and feel great. The way I look at it is I wouldn’t want my daughter to think she’s not worth it when she’s a mother so why should I think that.

Their Barcelona tank is a god send. I am sure the skirt would go great with a t-shirt or even a chambray blouse.

Lovely! I love midi skirts because they hide all of the lovely veining down my thighs from my many babies! Hooray! This is hip and looks fab too. Thanks for showing those planning for children that there is a life of adventure with your family which is cool and looks it too!

You just reminded me I have a similar skirt that I should look for and wear again 🙂

    Hello
I love this zebra print on you. The shape of the skirt is so pretty on you, and I love it with the thin strapped black tank and heels. Great style!
