I love trivia, always have. Several months ago I read the reason why “no white after Labour Day”, very petty and shows that old money doesn’t by class. It was started by “old money” that wanted to keep “new money” types in their place but setting arbitrary and stupid rules in place that would differentiate between the two. One of them was that “you don’t wear white after labour day”. New money types would show up in white and old money types would make fun of them. Not sure if this is actually true but the entire rule is ridiculous. So here’s to white after labour day.

White jeans are an easy fall transition. I’ve paired these with a neutral blouse and handbag and layered a few different patterns.

On a separate note I hope that back to school went off without a hitch for all those dreading/celebrating this right of passage for our kids.

It sounds right, and it is a silly rule. Well only when it starts raining and everything gets dirty than it makes sense. Your outfit is so elegant, the jacket is fresh and sunny and beautiful.

I love trivia too! I never looked this up though. That is just SO mean. Wow. I love your outfit here. Took a look around and I really like your style. So glad I found you!

Love everything about this look. So chic and classic. I love the check on the jacket, the subtle color. YOu look great in white jeans, and the pattern mix with the jacket and the fabulous leopard shoes is a great mix!

    Absolutely gorgeous!

I like white year round. The issue really is keeping them clean but that is an issue just as much on a rainy muddy summer day

Love every single component of this outfit. You look gorgeous x

here, here to breaking the rules ( or changing the rules) I have not worn my white jeans once this summer, I think they have become a fall/winter staple in my life. Love this look
