I have always loved Marks and Spencer clothing but it’s not like I can go whenever I want since I live in Canada and the stores are in the United Kingdom. I recently decided to order a few pieces online for a few reasons – great selection, there was a sale, NO DUTY, prices include tax (that’s right no adding tax on top of the total) and reasonable shipping costs. Now sizing was going to be tricky – M&S product is British Sizing. Since I own a few pieces from Karen Millen and Reiss (two British brands) I used that as my measure. I wear a UK 10 (coats and blouses) or 12 (dresses & skirts).
Marks and Spencer is having a sale right now. Use the code YESPLEASE and enjoy 20% off your purchase. There are exclusions but this skirt is not one of them.
This fishtail skirt was a must for one reason – the shape. I don’t own anything like this and I love it. I decided to style it for more of a corporate look. I kept everything neutral but you could easily add a bright coloured blouse/sweater to mix things up.
I also like a sleek coat with the skirt. I don’t want to take away from the flounce of the skirt so style wisely.
